It seems like 2024 has flown by!

We held our first Careerforce Pacific Learners Celebration of Success, connected with you at 23 Talanoa study hubs across the country, attended and presented at expos and had the pleasure of attending many graduation ceremonies across the country.

Careerforce Manaaki Fund 2024 to help support learner success
We are pleased to announce the next rounds of the Careerforce Manaaki Fund, designed to provide temporary financial assistance to learners facing unexpected hardship that is impacting upon their studies. Successful applicants will receive a one off payment of $400 to help with alleviating financial barriers.

Round 9 Applications open: 12 January - 25 January
Applicants notified: 10 February

Round 10 Applications open: 16 February - 1 March
Applicants notified: 17 March


Subject to continued funds availability. Dates subject to change.

To apply for the funding, you need to complete the application form here once Round 9 or 10 opens.

To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a Careerforce programme and meet all the relevant criteria. For more information, please refer to our FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions). Please note applicants can only receive the funds once.

Office Closure
The Careerforce offices will be closing across the holiday period. Offices close at midday on Tuesday 24 December, and will re-open on Monday 6 January 2025. You will still be able to work on your assignments over the holidays.
