Social and Community Services L4 Qualification Review

Careerforce as the qualification developer is now inviting stakeholders to participate in the qualification review of the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services) (Level 4) with strands in Community Facilitation, Community Health Work, Mental Health and Addiction, and Social Services.

The review will consider the qualification details, specifications and conditions to ensure they reflect the skills, knowledge and application expected to be demonstrated by a graduate of this qualification.

Any programme that leads to the awarding of the qualification is not part of this qualification review.

Online consultation is open from 14 January

We actively encourage you to have your say. Online consultation is open on 14 January until 7 February. If you believe there is a more suitable person within your organisation that could engage in this qualification review, please forward this email (and survey) to them.

At the end of the survey you will have the opportunity to indicate whether you plan to attend a hui in March. At this hui we will consult on the findings from the survey and discuss any details that require further consultation.

After the survey closes and consultation completed, we’ll collate all feedback and come out with a summary and recommendation for any changes required to the qualification. We’ll seek your feedback and attestation of support before submitting to NZQA.
